Nineacres is owned by the 2nd Fife (Dunfermline) Scout Group and is open for use by Scout and Guide Groups as well as other charitable youth groups.

The campsite covers about nine and a half acres of flat, level land, naturally divided into five areas. Groups can practise traditional scout craft here, and use the site as a base for offsite activities.
