Dunfermline District Scouts

Facilities

Camping fields, campfire circles, toilets, activity hall and a cookhouse ready for your programme.

Camping fields

The campsite is split into four camping fields.

The Main Field and Activity Field are both large enough for an entire group to camp with space left for games and activities.

The Backwoods Field is slightly smaller but still suits a large camp. It sits beside the River Devon, with scattered trees and a wooded area at the far end — ideal for hammocks and outdoor skills.

Island & campfires

The Island is the smallest field — water on both sides — and suits the Zodiac challenge badge.

There are two campfire circles: the main one on the island, and another at the far end of the site for groups using the Activity and Backwoods fields.

A toilet block near the entrance has ladies’ and gents’ facilities with showers. Toilet paper and soap are provided. Showers cost 20p for 6 minutes.

Activity hall

Ideal for indoor games, dining, or wet-weather activities.

Cookhouse

Upgraded kitchen with 6-burner cooker & oven, griddle, water boiler, hot and cold water, commercial fridge, large freezer, plus pots, pans and utensils.

Parking

Cars and minibuses park at the top field near the entrance and toilets. You can drop equipment at the lower car park — vehicles are not allowed on the camping fields.
